6 days!...Mission accomplished!

After all of your wonderful suggestions and advice for my potty training struggles a few weeks ago...we have overcome those struggles as of December 27, 2008. Yes, you heard it...my daughter, Breanna Renee McGovern, who will turn 3 in 32 days, has mastered the art of PEEING...AND POOPING (sorry for the visuals) ON THE "BIG POTTY". I had been telling her for about a week prior that we would be starting to potty train the next week, she knew exactly what I meant. The day before the "hard core training" was to begin, she decided herself, that she was going to start going on the big potty. I am so amazed at how quickly she did this! I figured it would take a "full-week-stay-at-home-no-holds-barred" (did I say that right?) type of deal. I was clearly wrong. But I have to say, she does know ALL about the rewards that come with going tinkle on the potty. And she wouldn't dare to forget to ask for it either! So, for all of you that have not had to experience this obstacle yet (Jana, Becky, Casey, Alicia, Shannon), if you struggle like I did...beleive me when I say, they will do it when THEY (not you) are ready...just like MY mom told me. I forgot to mention...not one accident yet! yipee!

Here are some pics I snapped of my little potty girl...ah, so proud I am!

Congrats! I am not kidding when I say this but we have been( the last 2 days) putting Jaydin on her DOra potty. She askes to sit on it, she even said potty, sat on it in her diaper and pooped! So...we will see if she is ready...at 17months. Watch she wont be potty trained util she is 5! LOL

Nice job Vanilli, or should I say Bree. Yeah it's going to be awhile for Mateo to master that!

Hooray!! Saying goodbye to diapers is a great thing for everyone! Now you can move onto mastering public restrooms and the very scary automatic flushing toilets. (I know a certain blonde 5 year old who refuses to set foot in a public restroom if those kinds of toilets are inside :)

Alright! That is great news. I love the little potty seats too! I'm sure I will have to ask you a few years from now all your tricks on this one - so keep it fresh in memory!
